Sichuan Becomes Latest Chinese Province to Order Bitcoin Miner Shutdown
The Sichuan government has joined other Chinese provinces in ordering local bitcoin mining operations to shut down pending an inspection.
The number of listings on China's most prominent marketplace apps has increased in the last month and a half.
Crypto crackdowns tend to intensify amid politically sensitive times in China.
The company said it's an old entity that isn't in use anymore.
BIT Mining expects to deliver another two batches of machines by the start of July.
"Compared to the amount of miners that get shipped regularly, it's just a small batch," a mining source told CoinDesk.
